From a product link to a shipping decision

A spreadsheet price is a starting point. Before ordering, compare the exact product option, fit, domestic delivery cost and the services your agent offers. Use the sequence below to keep those decisions separate.

Find the right listing

Start with a category when you know the product type. For a narrower search, combine a brand with a model or item description, such as “Nike running shoes” rather than only “Nike”. Record the source link, selected size, color and quantity. Different options in a single listing can have different prices. Check whether a displayed price refers to one item, a set, or an accessory pictured alongside the main product.

Choose measurements before choosing a size label

Measure a similar item you already own and compare the same measurement points with the listing's chart. For tops, note flat chest width and body length. For trousers, note waist and inseam. For shoes, consult the seller's specific measurement instructions rather than assuming that the same size number fits identically across models.

Estimate the total cost

Add these components when comparing two listings:

Ask your agent which weight and parcel measurements the selected route uses. Bulky packaging can affect a quote even when the item itself is light. If you request repacking or box removal, ask how this changes protection and the final dimensions. Compare routes using the same parcel assumptions.

Check the agent's current restrictions for batteries, liquids and other special items before purchasing. Availability of a listing does not establish that your preferred shipping route accepts it.
